长对话

题号：9——15

难度系数：三星半

点评：两篇长对话，第二篇略难，因为牵扯到同学们最不喜欢的商务场景。但是这一篇和课上讲过的13年12月份的长对话第一篇有异曲同工之妙。两篇文章的第一题，答案都是和place an order。做题方式也是一样的，所以说，多做真题！

好，回到今年的题目。今年大多数长对话题目都是可以根据“按顺序听题”和“听到什么选什么”的方法来做题的。其中，在”听到什么选什么“这个方法下，还用到了两次首轮首句出题的方法，标志词（序数词，因果关系词）后出考点等方法。答案特征不是原文重现，就是同义替换，而且原文重现的几率更大。

第9题选B. It is used by more people than English

原文：

W: Hi Leo, why do you say English would become the world language?

M: Well. For one thing, it’s so commonly used, the only language that is used by more people is Chinese.

解析：答案出自于首轮对话中，答案特征为原文重现。

第10题，选C. The influence of the British Empire.

原文：

W: Why is English spoken by so many people?

M: It’s spoken in many countries of the world because of the British empire. And now of course is the influence of America as well.

解析：答案出自于因果关系词后，答案特征为原文重现。

第11题，选It includes a lot of words from other languages.

原文：

W: What are they?

M: Well, first of all, it has a very international vocabulary. It has many German, Dutch, French, Spanish and Italian words in it.

解析：答案出自于序数词后，这题略难，需要听懂一段文字，再做题。答案特征为同义替换。

第12题，答案为To place an order 

原文：

Man: Hello. Yes?

Woman: Hello. Is that the sales department?

解析：答案出自于前两轮对话中，当然这道题需要推断。听到sales department,销售部门，你就应该注意了，会打电话给销售部门，当然就是为了订货咯~

第13题，He is not familiar with the exact details of goods.

原文：

W:What are the boards actually made of?

M: Oh, I don’t know. I think it's a sort of plastic stuff these days. It’s white anyway.

W:And how long does it take to deliver?

M: Oh, I couldn’t really say. It depends on how much work we’ve got and how many other orders there are to send out, you know.

解析：这道题略难，依然需要推断。答案出自于两个不确定的回答：I don’t know和I couldn’t really say。这都说明男生对自己的产品并不是很熟悉，所以应该选择He is not familiar with the exact details of goods.

第14题，It depends on a number of factors.

原文：

W:And how long does it take to deliver?

M: Oh, I couldn’t really say. It depends on how much work we’ve got and how many other orders there are to send out, you know.

解析：这题简单，通过听到什么选什么的方法做题就行。

第15题，Ring back when she comes to a decision.

原文：

W:Oh, I have to think about it. Thanks very much. I’ll let you know. Good-bye.

M: Thank you. Good-bye.

解析：此题需要推断。Think about it和后面的I’ll let you know结合一下，“我会考虑一下，考虑好了联系你”，那就是Ring back when she comes to a decision.
